Bulgarian old printed books 1806 – 1878

This collection contains about 1700 titles in about 10.000 volumes. It presents the printed production of Bulgarian writers from the National Revival in 18th and 19th centuries.

The major part of the collection is liturgical and educational books, translated and original fiction. First editions of the writings of the prominent Bulgarian enlighteners and writers, such as Sophronius of Vratsa, Neofit Rilski, Dr. Petar Beron, P. R. Slaveykov, Lyuben Karavelov, Hristo Botev, Ivan Vazov etc. are included.
